What's New?
Our latest mission: We will be sending our youngest daughter to Rwanda with the church to help Hope Haven in any way that they need her. Historically, that meant with their sports programs for the children, teaching English classes, Vacation Bible School, etc. In addition, we have been volunteering our time to help local food banks who provide food to many families in need every month.
In the pas, we've sent our oldest daughter and niece on a trip to Baja Mexico. There, they, along with 35 others from our church built two houses for two families. It was amazing to see the look on the faces of the families when they were handed keys to their very own house. No more living in garbage bags taped to pieces of wood!
Every summer our youngest volunteers her time to City Camp - a group of kids and young adults get together and clean up impoverished neighborhoods around Denver.
